steam cannot drop the price until the developer say that he can

Your character will run around with a boner which you won't see because it's first person point of view :)
money well spent

Edit: It looks like Euro = USD on this one. Its $119 stateside.

Well, this is what we could expect from Activision... Always money-hungry.

no, steam has finally removed one of the many knives gouging into our backs and brought the price down for us slightly (CoD Ghosts normal edition = $44.96 dark souls = $50 instead of $70... strange i know)

Not sure why anyone would pay that much for a COD game or any game for that matter, they are just milking the unhealthy obsession some people have for supporting the franchise when there is'nt really anything spectacular about it. No offense to the OP but buying games on pre-release or at release at these prices just increases the chance that these pricing trends will continue and possibly get worse. I understand a lot of people want this game but there comes a point when youve gotta let companies know that they are greedy enough as is and stop supporting them financially. Either way its not my money, but I hope anyone who shells out that kind of cash for some pixels enjoys the game enough to justify it a few months down the road when they release the next hyped up overpriced collection of 1's and 0's.

Here in europe games come with 40 euros because of the VAT and shippment the cost increase to 60 euros so dont complain at companies complain for taxes. One game cost less after months because after months community dies and one piece of it which in these situation is multiplayer has few people who play so they reduce price--- you see simple. Also for some people first day buy is not FOR ALL the game that they care it is beccause many{including me} go with their friend at the store and have fun while they buy it.

but before you take the digital one they must take the code to merge it with your account
Comment has been collapsed.
no shipment when you buy the digital product not before when they buy it to sell it to you

Heres an example of a cod fanboy wholl say anything whether it be accurate or not to defend his precious favoured franchise while being ripped blind by the company who makes it. You are obviously clueless to the workings of the world and probably still a child you have my sympathy.
Comment has been collapsed.
oh opsy i dont know how the world works and now i must go to the jail. Also yes i am a cod fanboy any problem man? you can be a barbie fanboy but i didnt critisize that so you are the child one who for a reason has a hate for the price which you noone made you to buy and go at forums critisize others for their taste of gaming. Also haviar the fish the very expensive sucks at taste but many expensive good restauraunts has it because someone likes it.

While CoD is essentially a below good fps game, their previous physical collector's editions were beyond fucking awesome. Night vision goggles, a quad copter?? Hell, it's crap, but it's a nice crap I wouldn't mind to pay. But this Ghosts shit is beyond shit.

I don't understand what's the point, you barely get anything for it, it's almost like throwing money away.
Comment has been collapsed.
if you look closely is 60 euros {as every year the main game}, 50 euros for dlcs{10 euros discount}=110 and 10 euros skins and other things so nope is not overpriced because of the package ,is overpriced because of the main game and as i said above this the fault is the taxes not the game itself
Comment has been collapsed.
You're still paying 10 euros for skins. Marvelous.
Let's not mention Activision's abusive DLC prices.

ok i cant now go slip down to your rock and let others calculate for you

Any company that decides to have tons of dlc before the game is even released and has prices planned is no different, Honestly whats so hard about making a complete game and selling it as is, imo nothing really its just a cash cow and they use this to divide players so that unless you have these dlc in many multiplayer games youre left behind on empty maps or cant play with friends who have it, battlefield is no better nor are many other games that do this. I spent the money on dlc for bf3 cause i enjoy the game enough i felt forced, but im not going to defend the franchise as though it were my child.

in the first part you are right and i must agree, is stupid not agree. However dlc not always divide community{even the pay one} and this you can see it if you play call of duty even once in your life you will see that dlc has so few players that makes you to disable them or not buy them and mostly {dont say all the time} all play the main maps. they are more let me say accessories than something expand game.

the most expensive package is saint row 4 Ultimate edition which cost 1.000.000 dollars and yes ekaros has a car:P
Comment has been collapsed.
A car is pretty much a physical thing in my book.
Comment has been collapsed.
Oh my, for that price I would have expected some physical CoD goodies too... like a dog.
Comment has been collapsed.
Nope, not the most expensive package by a long mile.
Grid 2 had a promo / offer of £250k and that netted you the game, a PS3 to play it, a race wheel, a full race suit, a track day if I remember correctly, and a car. At the time this held the record.
Then Saints Row 4 had a similar thing for $1million.

Yay for € = $
Yet another reason to hate Activision.

I feel so bad about the people who like COD enough to preorder it every year.Luckily for me, I like games that are often cheap enough to be affordable. 120 dollars for a product like this? Sorry but no. It doesn't even have physical goodies (Of course not, it's a digital download game after all!). It's a shame people don't vote with their wallets, they should have to pay 40 MAX for the standard edition and 30 for the season pass like any DECENT game.
Comment has been collapsed.
I agree even though I pre-ordered ghosts this year. I have never bought CoD back to back. I started at 2, went to WaW, then Blops, and now ghosts. Only reason I got ghosts is I wanted something mindless to play, also got BF4.
The price is stupid. 50$ for a season pass. 15$ for a map pack was stupid (although I did get 3 of them for free off twitter thankfully). Cant say I blame activision though seeing is how people always buy it even though it seems like its just a patched version of the previous CoD.

'*DLC content in the Season Pass may be sold separately. If you purchase the Digital Hardened Edition, do not also purchase the standalone map packs, as you will be charged for them. Season Pass and DLC content may not be available on all platforms or in all territories. Pricing and release dates may vary by platform.' This seems VERY worrying to me, 'hey all the value of the season pass and game, BUT YOU'RE NOT GETTING THIS DLC!'
Comment has been collapsed.
Ehm, you get the DLC, they just warn you not to buy the DLC separately, as you will be charged for that.
It's the same with BF3 and premium (on the xbox at least). Having premium makes you get all the expansion packs, but in the xbox store they do not show as owned, so you might buy it double.
And since people tend to blame their stupidity on the lack of 1001 warnings instead of common sense, they warn you for that.
