Just a head up for RE fans: The new RE anime is just out on DVD. Head out to the nearest DVD store or simply order at Amazon to get a copy right now. (Or, well, you know where to sail to if you're having financial problems.)

Also, you don't need to watch the previous Degeneration to get into this one though I would recommend you to try Degeneration first.

So, how the film? To me, it's much improved comparing to Degeneration: animation, storyline, etc. RE fans should definitely try it out.

Yeah that's true. I'll always take Blu-Ray over DVD but a lot of old stuff is still DVD only for some stupid reason.

Well, Blue Ray is mostly for HD and that fancy bonus stuff that wouldn't fit on a DvD, so you take something old that has no HD and no fancy stuff and slap it on a Blue Ray then you have an overpriced DvD.
