I had that once before. I asked for a second reroll to SG Support and got it swiftly.

Yep, just keep on re-rolling until you get someone who doesn't own it.

I once had to ask for 3 or 4 rerolls once, albeit for slightly diffeent reasons. Was giving away Dragon Age Origins: Awakening which is an expansion pack and I kept getting winners who didn't own the base game.

I've had a few rerolls, but never a repeat reroll. Just be glad there's bound to be someone on the list who doesn't have it.

This is why I never do DLCs. I just give the key for them in email after the base game was marked as received.

I rerolled one dlc 28 times, it was few copies of it but still... never going to give away dlc again.

oh, and it took 42 days, after that i asked to simply delete giveaways that were still without valid winners.

I once won a rerolled giveaway and also turned out to own it, because it appeared in a HB in the time between me entering and me winning :-P

I would say hopefully that would motivate SG to improve the checks to hide already-owned DLC just like games but honestly I don't know if that's SG's fault or Steam's. I'm willing to bet most people don't know that DLC will show up in the list even if they don't own it. I know I didn't for a while, until I saw DLC that I knew I had.

I once made a week long giveaway for the halloween event last year, and then a few days before my giveaway would end, Indie Gala decided to give that game away for free... T_T
Thankfully for me (and the support) the 3rd guy didn't grab a copy yet!

I once did a private dlc gib. 3 people joined. I rerolled 2 times and the third one had a private profile and didn't accepted my invitation, so I sent it to his email. I'll never know if he had it or not.

I once had to roll 4 times for a giveaway to find someone without the game. Of course I blacklisted those 3 owners, one even added me and said some weird stuff about my relatives because I blacklisted him.

Seriously though, why the hell would you join a giveaway if you're not even slightest interested in the game itself ? How can you not even know having it ? What is wrong with you people ?
