And this is my second puzzle for this event. I tried to keep it tame and all informations can be found in one source. For one or two questions you may have to think for ten seconds. The rest is rather easy. If you have troubles with the format, post here and I would come to your rescue unless I am at work, sleeping or I just don't care :P

Theme this time is the Holsten Gate. One of the three defensive gates to protect the city of Lübeck. While over time only one of the gates has been preserved it has been part of a larger arry before. Also preservation has been quite hard since the fundament has not been the best so it had several restauration phases to keep it alive.

Entrance to the puzzle-tour is HERE

Note: Collect the passcodes from the 5 landmarks from this week to gain access to a train for November week 2!

Schedule for complete event and access to weekly trains can be found HERE

I don't know how many variations i tried already, still no luck.

It's generally a problem with this puzzle as sometimes the german answer is not accepted and sometimes it's necessary. IMHO it's not fun puzzling the formatting of the answer instead of the answer itself.

EDIT: Hint helped tremendously! Thx

Stuck on Q2 and Q6...
For Q2 are to many different names for gates so I don't know which of the 100 cases it should be....
For Q6 I found the answer, at least I thought, but it's wrong....

Q6 should be quite easy. It could be a formatting problem but I accept 6 different answers. If you have the only source I used and found the other eight questions then this one should not pose a problem.

For Q2 I don't know of different names. The names searched here correlate with their placement and can be find in the most common source.

I can't seem to figure out the formatting required for Q5. I feel like I've tried all possible combinations.

There are various formats accepted like:

year-year
year - year
year to year
from year to year

Thanks for your answer, but unfortunately I don't know what I'm missing. I've tried all the periods of years given in my source, with no luck so far. All the other sources I've found give the same two years, so I really don't know what I'm doing wrong :(

Basis of my quiz is the most common source in the internet. Other than that check the hint for the question. Maybe that helps
