I used to have a list as to how many I spent on games but I stopped pretty much a year ago.
Up until then I spent 64,56€ - I assume that that has doubled by now. Probably more than doubled.
Let's just say about 200€ I think. I don't know.

I have no idea. The extension says over 5k dollars, but that's actually very far from the truth, because not only did I buy a lot of bundles, but I also NEVER bought a single game for full price. If it wasn't on sale, I didn't buy it. And by sale I mean AT LEAST 66%, usually 75. I also bought quite a few games from Nuuvem, where even the base price is almost 30% lower than that of Steam. But even so, I only bought games that were on sale(I'm a cheap bastard, I know). But you think it stops there? Nope. Some games I bought from retail and in my country retail games are pretty cheap compared to the Steam store. For instance, I found a single copy of DMC: Devil May Cry on the shelf. The full price was the Romanian equivalent of about 20 euro. But because there was just one left, it was 75% off. So I got it for 5 bucks. How much is it in the Steam store? FUCKING 45 euro. And that's how much the extension that calculated my library's worth values it. Not to mention that some games I basically got for free: once I traded 2 Steam keys, 1 for Enclave and the other for Damnation and I got King's Bounty Warriors of the North Valhalla Edition, which at the time had never been in a bundle and had a price of 30 euro in the Steam store. And I got it for a pair of absolutely worthless bundle games, which I thought no one would ever want. Was it awful of me? Perhaps. But the guy knew exactly what he was agreeing to, so...all's fair in commerce.

Well, the Elder Scrolls anthology alone was $100... And my mom gave me $100 on it for V-day and that's gone.... In total, I've probably spent around.... $300-450 in total, plus of course all the freebies I have... Which there are far too many of lol

I've got over 338 games on Steam and seldom buy anything that is not at least 75% off.

I'm guessing my total gaming expense is around $300 USD, $400 on the outside.

Shortly after getting involved with Steam, I became a smarter shopper. Learned to find sales and stopped going to retail stores for my purchases.

That's poppycock. You will ALWAYS find much better deals for Steam games in retail than in the Steam store. That's a PROVEN FACT. Read my comment above on how I bought DMC: Devil May Cry from an electronics store for 5 euro. How much is it in the Steam store? Oh yeah, FORTY-SIX EURO!!!! So what is that? Like a 90% save? Sure, it was a special 75% price reduction, but that still means that the base price was 20 euro, which is less than half of the Steam store price. And the reason that it was reduced in price was because it was the last copy on the shelf and they wanted to get rid of that. ONLY IN RETAIL can one have that luck. But you have to be willing to get off you fat-ass, out of the house, hit the malls and look for the offers. cause they don't find you, like in the case of the purely digital products. Not to mention I got a neat box with cool concept arts and the hard copy DVD of the game, which has the serial number on it and with which I can prove the ownership of my Steam account, should it ever get stolen. So DO NOT dis retail...EVER.

It says I've spent $301, with another $140 in gifts (some of which I redeemed myself).

The Steam Calculator says my account is worth $10467 ($2829 with sales, whatever that means).

If you add in all of the bundles I've purchased, that's probably another $100 I've spent. Not bad, considering I've had my account 12 years.

I actually try to keep track of everything I spend on games, because I'm a nerd like that (and also on a budget). Just under £170 for over 500 games. Not a bad deal, I think :)
