I also doubt that Nier will dissapoint me (and I'm having seriously high expectations), but I woudn't call that hype.

I'm so tired of being hyped for The Last Crown: Blackenrock :(

Sonic Mania - (Will be developed by the people who know how to make 2D Sonic games)
Freedom Planet 2 - (One of the Sonic Mania devs are working on it)

Games that I'm hyped, but, sadly, I can't play them because my PC isn't powerful enough (yet):

Shadow Warrior 2
Dishonored 2

Both Yooka-Laylee.and A Hat in Time look like a great resurgence for the classic 3D collect-athon platformer and any indie game that goes from being completely unknown to one of the greatest games.

I don't usually get excited for new games because 1)I can't afford them 2)Even if I could they'd take forever to download and 3)Even if they downloaded I probably couldn't run them

The two exceptions are both indie games and are Totally Accurate Battle Simulator which seems fun and Tacoma which was made by the same people who did Gone Home which was one of my favorite games of all time :)

Watch Dogs 2 because it looks promising and it has the most negative hype. Interesting to see how it fares.
