The games are emoved from GOG, so there is a risk, that they could be removed from Steam, too.

Both games also were free on Epic.

Playdead will remove Limbo and Inside from GOG. The reason might be a conflict between the studio’s founders

The difference might be that in Shadowkills source you can read that the game credits where modified on steam prior and it might be that they now do the same with the gog version.

So it might be less likely that it will also be removed from steam and more likely that it may soon return to gog as well.

Maybe, but then the citation doesn't make much sense, because it has nothing to do with a possible return of the game on gog.

In my opinion It is just a TLDR from Shadowkill why it might be removed from GOG, which is missing in your OP.

Me interpreting the difference between your linked source and his does not change this.

Played LIMBO years ago on Playstation. I always meant to get it on PC, and now I just did. Thank you for the heads-up. 👍

Highly recommend both, especially Inside. 90% off is a steal.

That's because it has already been removed a few weeks ago:

"The GOG team announced that on July 17th, the games Limbo and Inside will be removed from the store."

I love both games, such a shame they never produced any more new games for nearly a decade, anyone knows the reason?

Even though both creators (Arnt Jensen and Dino Patti) split up (basically Dino left the company for... reasons), Playdead still exists as a studio, although it appears to be dead (pun intended), so I don't think it should be a reason for not producing more games.

But Dino Patti worked on another game called Somerville, if you're interested. It's probably the closest thing you'll get to something created by Playdead.

Oh damn. I was planning to purchase it, since I enjoyed both of those games (and I'm currently playing Planet of Lana, although it's a bit on the boring side).

I bought Somerville right after i have won and played Planet of Lana here.
I enjoyed it a lot more then Planet of Lana.
The theme in Somerville is much more interesting.
