So, today i made some giveaways and as they ended today i went to check my stats and surprised i was to see that my lvl went down. It was around 2.82 and when i checked it now it was around 2.21. Also, i got blacklisted by someone for some reason. So, anybody know why that could happen?

Verdun was added to the bundle list so your CV for that giveaway went from $25 down to $3.75

edit: actually Unbox and Aftergrinder also. So they would have dropped by 85% as well.

Can you believe it... They even introduced a system recently that makes donations possible AND DONATING DOESNT INCREASE YOUR WINNING CHANCES. If I didn't have to find new people to eat here I would never visit this site again...

There are 3 situations when your level goes down:

  1. You gave away a game(s) that was in a bundle (or avaiable for bundle price), but was not yet added to Bundle List (list is managed manually by 1 person). So originally you got 100% Value while you should have gotten 15%. When games got added to bundle list you lost this 85%.
  2. Game(s) you gave away got cut base-price in Steam Store. SG uses Steam API to gather data about prices. So if game when you gave it away costed on Steam 30$, but few months later it's base price dropped to 15$ API will report 15$ so your Value will drop.
  3. API bug - sometimes API gives false data about game prices - for example games costs 20$, but due to bug api reports pack value and it gives you 100$ value. When bug ends your Value drops to normal Value it should have from the start.

Did you pay full price for the games you've given away?

If they already had your level would not fdrop. In your circumstances as said above - Verdun had no while it should have. You got this game from Humble Bundle obviously (as it's shown by you giving away other games from said bundle), so you should expect to get reduced CV from it. So nope - it does not effin sucks, it's what you should have expected in the first place. If you give bundle game you get 15% Value.

Thing is, they were already marked as reduced value. I thought the value that i was given was already the reduced value. I'm not annoyed their value is reduced, i'm annoyed that their value were reduced twice. That's it. You don't need to be caustic about it

It's not updated yet, expect all games that have been in a bundle to go from 100% value to 15% value sooner or later :p

I recommend you this tool to follow and understand the variations of your Steamgifts level : https://www.steamgifts.com/discussion/ykOEs/ (OSS - Tool to plan Steamgifts giveaways)

The adding to the bundle list is done manually, so it can take a while. So the retroactive bundling can take a couple of days.

You might want to give the FAQ a read. Or try the search function of the forums, this happens all the time, so there's a bunch of threads with similar situations.

A good rule of thumb is - if you didn't pay full price for something then don't be surprised if you don't get full CV for it. It's a human adding stuff to the bundle list and it doesn't always happen the very instant there is a great deal on something someplace on the internet.

Even if you did pay full price, your lvl can still go down in the future if the game ever gets added to a bundle. Lame system.

Only if the bundle date is from before you made the giveaway. So basically, it's best not to wait with full price games
