Ubisoft Assassin's Creed 4 language change

I pre-ordered AC4 on ubistore, with vpn connection to mother russia, taking advantage of the low price.

I received the game, downloaded it and installed it, but it's default language is russian. I've been digging around in the game folder, i noticed that all the language files are there (for english, spanish,...) but i'm not able to change the game to english.
It seams that it's language locked.

I've tried changing the values in regedit, to english, but without effect.

Has anyone face the same situation, and came across with a solution?

Hope they ban your account...
But if you want a solution, contact their support and tell them you used a VPN to take advantage of a price bug

Yeah you're not interested to buy those triple AAA games for 3$ and its easy to change the language on the registry files :3

Actually i can launch the game and play, it's just a language problem that i can't figure it out.

But thanks, i'll keep it in my options :D

Ask Steam Support to remove the game from your account and buy it again from another region with multi-langage support.

I also bought the game using the price glitch..and now after several hours its finally finished, started and got several bonus unlocks, i guess because of the Deluxe Edition. And my language is in my mother language German, as i putted the activation key it asked me what language i want to choose. So no Russian at all.

I also purchased the deluxe, but i wasn't asked for the key, the game was already in my games tab of uplay.

I want to try if i can change the language this way.

well in the ps3 version i can change the language and subtitels in the options menu of the game.

If you can't read Russian, don't buy region locked Russian games. Simple, no?
Russian region locked games often don't even have the other language files, even though it seems like they are there (I can't say 100% about AC4 though, as I don't own it).
You can most likely download the english language files and replace them, simplest would probably be to download a torrent of the game and install it in a separate folder, then replace language related files.

MRRICARDO, I think you're the only one that got the Russian-locked language version :P. Everyone I talked to received a ROW uplay key and could change to any language during the install.

Uplay offered me a language choice before installing the game. Try re-installing, perhaps? No Russian language was available, by the way.
