While downloading, there was option to select language.

Ask Steam Support to remove the game from your account and buy it again from another region with multi-langage support.

I'm pretty sure the solution is "buy the non-Russian version."

Google provides a lot of potentially useful hits, but I'd be pretty wary of downloading files from some of those sources...

I also bought the game using the price glitch..and now after several hours its finally finished, started and got several bonus unlocks, i guess because of the Deluxe Edition. And my language is in my mother language German, as i putted the activation key it asked me what language i want to choose. So no Russian at all.

Can someone, with english language selected, upload the "DataPC.forge" file of the game directory, and post the link here??

I want to try if i can change the language this way.

I don`t have russian language at all. Thats funny because i live in Russia. Game installed in english XD

If you can't read Russian, don't buy region locked Russian games. Simple, no?
Russian region locked games often don't even have the other language files, even though it seems like they are there (I can't say 100% about AC4 though, as I don't own it).
You can most likely download the english language files and replace them, simplest would probably be to download a torrent of the game and install it in a separate folder, then replace language related files.

MRRICARDO, I think you're the only one that got the Russian-locked language version :P. Everyone I talked to received a ROW uplay key and could change to any language during the install.

Uplay offered me a language choice before installing the game. Try re-installing, perhaps? No Russian language was available, by the way.
