Is this many entries without a win normal?

There are people with 1,000+ entries and no wins.

Got my 1st win around 1,500 so yeah it's normal..and it'll be worse with increasing numbers of entries:)

It took me...1256 I believe before my first win. And I got Fortix. ;)

Yes, I won at about 750 for the first time though if I recall.

It took me 1887 entries until I got my first win, and there are people with over 3K entries that still haven't won. Hang in there.

It's normal because it's random.

No joke, on one of my giveaways, someone won with only 1 entry ever. 100% win ratio. That particular giveaway had 700 or so entries.

I tried to talk to him when I emailed him his gift. He never responded.

I've did 1,897 entries and only won 4 times. I had my first win somewhere between 650 to 740 entries.

Look at how many entries are in a giveaway, on average. 1,000? That means your average chance is 1 in 1,000.

Personally, I've never won a public giveaway with over 2,700 entries (mixed public/private/group)

Randomness rules here. And keep in mind that big number of your previous unsuccessful entries don't force your next entry to be successful one. Yes, it is very obvious, but many of us believe that at heart.

OP u have our/my permission to cry/whine here when u reach 3000 entries without a win.

While theoretically, the law of averages is on your side. Realistically, nothing is on your side except entry count - and usually not even that.

I was at about 300 entries before my first win, but that was back when the user count was about 50,000 instead of 225,000. You can see where the discrepancy lies. If you use me as a basis, you can figure on 1700-1800 entries before your first win. Even then, that's not necessarily the case. I will bid you good luck.

i entered 1,368 giveaways and still no winning so stop complaining

I won my first giveaway around my 140th entry. If you want to increase you chances of winning, I suggest you join giveaway groups or private giveaways (usually done by solving puzzles in the forum). I mean, you aren't even a member of the official S.Gifts group. Large developer giveaways also largely increase one's chances. Sometimes people post 1-hour giveaways at odd hours, too, which is another way to increase your chances.

There are also specific groups for people who have never won (despite many entries):

• Ultra-Luxe
• S.Losers
• S.CherryPoppers

However, some of these groups are closed.

2,236 without win. That guns of Icarus beta dosn't count since there were more copies than people who entered.

One guy had over 3000 entries before someone gifted him something to end his losing streak.

Just be patient, hope you win something soon! :D

It took me roughly 350 entries for my first win, I entered 1000 more since then with no luck, and I enter a lot of group and contributor giveaways.

To be honest...I kinda hope not to win, it's more fun that way and if I win a game I'll have a feeling I need to play it right away, even with all the games I would probably want to finish first.

Random is random, but I won my first games after about 200 entries.

First winning after 50 entries but it was fake giveaway. -.-'
