Should i use the same email as steam?

Last week i win a gift from this web.First of all,thanks to the giver&this web.But i still haven't received it.So i doubt whether the email adress should be the same one as the steam's?

Gifters will almost always send the game through your email - To redeem it, it must be the same email as your Steam account. So if you want to actually receive the games that you win, yeah, using your Steams email address may be a good idea.

so any email works to redeem a game? are you guys 100% sure about that. i tought steam only allowed the same email as steam for receiving gifts by email

Yes, any email works. I guarantee you 100%. I currently use two emails. One for steam gifts and a different one for steam.

No, you do NOT have to use the same email on both Steam and SG. Anyone saying otherwise is wrong.

yep he is right! because steam sends you a link when you click it, it goes to your steam client and accepts the gift.

Yeah, so? You still don't have to use the same email adress on both Steam and SG. Givers should ALWAYS send the gift to the email adress on SG to prevent being scammed.

DO NOT USE THE SAME EMAIL AS YOUR STEAM ACCOUNT. This will help to keep your steam account secure and safe. The less information people have about your steam account the better. If they know what your steam email address is you are an easier hijacking target.

you do not need to use the same email! steam will send a link to the email of your choice and when clicked it will go to the steam client to accept the gift!

He is right you can choose to use the same one or different emails. Personally I recommend using a different email but you do not have too.
