So I don't know, "recently" (I don't really know what recently really is, though) I've been getting angry/frustrated/irritated/whatever really easily (not just in a recent discussion) I guess, or, at least, as much so as I can be? I don't know, I mostly just get more depressed when I get worked up, though, so I decided to do this to try and get other things out of my head as well as my inbox.

I don't really know what I'm looking for, so I guess just cute or funny gifs (While I'd usually prefer anime, right now I guess I'd just like anything you think might cheer me up?), funny jokes/stories, or pretty much whatever... I really don't feel like even typing much anymore so I probably won't be responding tonight, at least.

And I actually have a GA for those of you who came to this thread even though there's no mention of a GA in the title, I probably have something better somewhere, but I'm not in the mood to go looking right now, so here's Hordelicious, the only game I already owned from a bundle I really wanted... (Sorry for being selfish, xp)

EDIT: Thanks everyone, I'll be in Canada for about a week starting tomorrow (3/23) so I probably won't be on much until I get back. Traveling stresses me out and stuff, though, so wish me luck, lol. ;p

recently I've been getting angry/frustrated/irritated/whatever

I've been feeling the same way all day. Realized it's because I didn't get any drum practice in today. The physical activity and violence of it seem to calm me down, as well as wear me down physically so I don't have the energy to be those things any longer. Fortunately I have a lovable puppy to bring my spirits up when all else fails. :)

I'd highly suggest a hobby or physical activity that doesn't involve any of the things triggering you. Even if it just takes your mind off things for a few minutes at a time, it's a few minutes more peace you'll have in your day. If all else fails, get a puppy -- best anti-depressant on earth imho :)

Hope you feel better soon :)

I do have a dog, but even though I always call him my puppy, he's older than my two youngest siblings, and I have a hard time imagining what I'll do when he's gone... Uggh, sorry, maybe in the morning I'll be able to be a little more positive.

Also, I unblacklisted you (You were probably on there because of my "recent" irritability) as a thanks and an apology for whatever I probably argued over. But I have a feeling you own the game already?

I get blacklisted a lot, I'm sure. It's no big deal. I tend to speak my mind and can be extremely "blunt".
For what it's worth, though, thanks :P

Also, don't imagine what you'll do when he's gone, enjoy the time you're given with him. I like dogs better than people. ;)

Last summer i met a 100 year old man (first time i meet someone that old in my life). I was with a company of friends and we asked him what he did in his life to be happy, cause according to his fellow villagers and his family, he had always been a very happy person. So that old man said to us the followings (not exactly the way i will write it but the meaning is correct):

I'll suggest one thing: whenever you feel down remember who you really are.

What does that mean? It's simple. Consider your thoughts as a child (ages 2-7) and try to remember what were you thinking. For instance, where you thinking you needed to help people? where you thinking you like making trips in the countryside? try to consider these thoughts. It may take a while to remember them but eventually you will.

As a matter of fact, this is what some people call "find yourself". No matter what you do in your life, subconsciously your mind and feelings return back to these "original" thoughts and feelings. Unless you fulfill them, you will not find the calmness you are searching for. That's the human nature. We are all born unique and our conscious/our soul wants to express that uniqueness during our lifetime. Notice though that "become unique" does not mean "become extreme or mad".

Hope this helps you.

I don't actually have my own bed, lol. I usually end up sleeping on a couch or the floor somewhere, or when I'm motivated enough to shower ("Eew, gross, you don't shower every day?" I know, I'm gross...) I'll sleep on my special mattresses on the floor in my room (I have this really weird kind of OCD/Germophobia mix thing that makes no sense and is hard to explain, so I'll leave it at that).

P.S. Don't judge me, I'm special... ;P

Good job! These are the first steps of a sane mind, now next step is to watch something comediant, which isnt full with violence or competition. For example, here in Bulgaria we have a show, where Bulgarian celebrities, hit a button of randomness in which they get a random world celebritiy and they try to copy them (Which most of the time fails) and it's fun as hell, so you should find some show of the same type so you can have fun and the aggression in you will slowly start dieing and any sort of depression which grows in you will start to fade, but dont expect an instant effect, you need it to be a bit longer so you can enjoy it and have fun and forget that dark side in you so you can have a nice and calm life.

P.S drink a glass of wine so you can enjoy it at max and feel good. I say wine, because it's the only healthy alcohol. And I say a glass so you can get that tispy fun mood so everything can make you laugh.

Excuse me ser. Would you kindly READ WHAT THE BLOODY HELL I WROTE? (typical LoL/CS/Dota answer), but no really... read what I wrote, I said "Stop LoL, CS or Dota 2 and your problem will be solved" as, if you dont play the 3 main games who are the birth of hate and rage, that you wont feel depressed, aggressive ect ect... Thanks for the missunderstanding you have towards what I wrote. Marry x-mas

p.s if you reply with "Sorry I didnt correct" I'll answer with "whatever", so dont bother... Happy eastern, birthday, name-day, vallentine and whatever else you christians, muslims or whatever religion you are celebrate.

I don't know not really proper thing to watch in your condition.. I guess?

Comment has been collapsed.

I figured it wasn't when I was first looking at it, I think. It's really confusing, I love anime, but watching it is hard for me, partially because, for some reason, I actually get emotionally attached to, like, any and every anime I watch (making ones like Your Lie In April really painful), but also I always feel kind of depressed when I finish any series or game so... Yeah, idk...
At the same time, though, I love watching anime with cute girls, especially slice-of-life and/or romantic ones, because they make me want to melt (in a good way? I have no idea how to explain it) and help me try to fill the void left by, well, "past experiences", I guess.

I'll probably wait for at least a little longer, but if I never watched anime that I figured would leave me feeling down, I'd probably never watch anime... For example, I watched all of Gurren Lagann in a couple days and was pretty depressed for like a month afterwards... :p
I don't know what to do about that. :/

Permalink

Comment has been collapsed.

I love anime too! So I knew what you're feeling
It's sad to see something you like ended... But it's better than filler + recap episodes -> 200 more episodes

Cute girls doing cute things are enjoyable sure... Cute guys too for me xD

If you want some advice for me and if you really want to watch anime
Watch something happy & funny
Like comedies and parodies anime, they're working.. for me
I can recommend you some if you want... But in the end the decision is yours :3
