Well, seems you don't like to read, because it was an experiment about people reading the description of his giveaways xD
He was just doing it in different environments to see the difference in how many read them based on whitelist/public/private giveaways.

You can always just click on someones name and try to view a previous giveaway that they made. If you have been blacklisted, it will not allow you to view the giveaway and tell you that you have been blacklisted. It's the same message you get when you try to enter a whitelist or group giveaway when you are not in the whitelist or group, but it will specifically say you have been blacklisted.

Personally I usually don't say thank you unless I win because I want to reduce spam, but if the creator asks for it of course I'm up for image spam etc. :D
