Battle Nations Help!!

I have been trying to play the game "Battle Nations" since its official Steam release date (almost a month ago), whenever I try to play it gives me the option to "Play Battle Nations" or "Show Logs". No matter which one I put once I pres "Play" it acts like its about to load but closes a second later.

My OS is Windows 8 it that helps.

The game or Steam? If you are talking about the game than yes- I've tried doing that several times
