From the review, it seems to be similar to Ace Attorney. I don't know much about the game, though.

It has nothing to do with Root Double. Just similar titles. Root Double is also a far superior VN.

Looks like you do some investigating in the game. I don't usually play VNs but Ace Attorney, Danganronpa and 999 are some of my favourite games. Is this one a bit similar to these games ?

I haven't played the game yet, but from the review, it looks like it mimics Ace Attorney quite a bit. Perhaps checking a game play video would let you confirm whether you might like it or not? I'm sorry I can't be of much help here.
