Yes, another prediction event. :) (Also running: Bahrain Grand Prix & 2017 World Snooker Championship events.)

How it works

Predict who is going to win the race; that's all. :)

Entries close when the race starts. Since it's a one day race just enter your predictions below.

Once all the classics have finished I will create a special winner's event for everyone who correctly predicted a race giving them a shot at some nice games.

Race Preview

The only Dutch classic; but most of the top Dutch riders won't be there this time. One important change this year; the Cauberg is no longer right at the finish but 19 km before it, changing the final part dramatically. How this will turn out is anyone's guess.

Favorites

• Number one on the list is Philippe Gilbert; he won The Tour of Flanders a few weeks ago and won this race three times already. I'm sure he wants to go back to the years where he dominated the three Ardennes classics.
• Greg Van Avermaet will be starting here too; will the new layout favor him more?
• 2015 winner Michał Kwiatkowski won both Strade Bianche and Milano-Sanremo this year. Can he give Team Sky some good news for a change? They are in even more hot water this week after a whistle blower accused them of violating the no-needles policy.
• This is one of the few races Alejandro Valverde has never won. Here's hoping he'll be able to add it to his palmares this year!
• Roman Kreuziger won in 2013 and this is the only Ardennes classic he is doing this year.
• In 2012 Enrico Gasparotto surprised everyone by winning here and last year he won again; could lightning strike again?
• Michael Matthews has long been seen as a contender for these classics.
