It depends on what you are going to do with the thousands of years.

Can you feel pain? As in you get shot in the head, you obviously don't die because you are immortal, but do you feel the pain? Do you go in a coma forever? Does the bullet shatter in contact with your skin? Stuff like that is important when making this choice.
