Borderlands 2 - worth it without DLCs?

Can someone help me? I am living in New Zealand and it says that the original price of Borderlands 2 the normal game is $40USD and with today's sale is now $10USD but for a lot of people is at $5USD. Why is that?

Yes, but apparently you need tiny tina and the one that unlocks more levels.

Haven't played the game, but I like using this site... kind of shows you how much gameplay you'll be missing without each of the DLC and stuff :)

Honestly, the dlc no good only DLC Tina Tiny is very amazing dlc.

whiout DLCs = CRAP

GotY is decent value. Rest is something you can grab later if you don't get bored...

In Amazon is cheaper than Steam.

With or without the DLCs, it's a great game. I'm playing it actually, i'm level 50 (out of 72), still didn't put my feet in any DLC island, i'm going in my second run yet, but now i'm helping a friend to level up, so it will take time.

It's always funny that the game alone is way cheaper than including the DLCs, when the game is much longer than the DLCs combined.
