You can bookmark the url with your preferred filters, that's the most convenient you can make it without scripts or waiting [REDACTED] years of it maybe happening.

Are chances higher? I think I saw level 10 giveaway like once and that was mine. Most giveaways are done about level 2 I think?

At least in the lvl 0-5 range it is noticeable that it is a lot less entries. I am only lvl 5 personally, so Idk how it is above that.

In honor of thread I made a level 10 giveaway, so there will be something on filter! Unfortunatelly, 98% of sg won't be able see it

I always thought the invite only thing showing up was just people hosting group giveaways or smth like that.

Invite Only giveaways are Invite Only giveaways that aren't finished. You need the /hBGHY/ 5 letter code to join them. If you look at my created giveaways and scroll down, you will see couple of invite giveaways which is for the community train https://www.steamgifts.com/discussion/Ql4J0/community-train-12-super-ultra-arcade-remix-hyper-edition-ex-a-directors-cut-knuckles

Every giveaway on this site has a unique 5 character code in its URL. So the code hBGHY is for a specifc giveaway on this site.
Example: https://www.steamgifts.com/giveaway/hBGHY/
The only way to enter invite only giveaways is through the URL, in other words they will never show on the giveaways page.
As for the Community Train Thread, you are free to enter all of those giveaways (though you proabaly won't have enough points to do so). You may add a giveaway to the train by creating your own Invite Only giveaway that follows the rules listed in the thread and commenting that link to the last cart.

Aside from the search params mentioned above... Both are already present in ESGST. You can find the original by searching the discussion threads but it requires some workarounds due to not having updates in a long time.
I would recommend squishedpotatoe's fork which has a lot of bug fixes and updates so workarounds not needed

I am of the belief that a site should work well without extensions - I just dont believe that its a thing only a minority would appreciate. I created the poll to find out if it would be appreciated by people, I am open to being wrong about that.

OTOH, this site gets so few feature updates, that if it comes to a vote, while I am not against what you suggested, if we only get 1 or 2 things, I would be much more likely to vote for something we don't currently have even with scripts. More apis for example.

I mean sure, but thats a lot of manual work instead of just filtering it, thats significantly more hassle than just using a bookmark, which is also not a great solution, imo.

If it's not about entering giveaways that have higher odds and you have too many giveaways to enter, so you need help with managing that with sorting of higher odds, so you can min/max entering. Then what is the problem?

The point is that going through every single giveaway one by one is pointless hassle so not at all a solution to what this suggestion is about. The filters as a bookmark solution is way more practiable and less hassle, the only thing that would be even better is if the site itself gave a more userfriendly option for filtering and sorting.

Long term, hiding giveaways is best. Next to the giveaway for a game, manually hide all games you aren't interested in.

Do you mean not seeing giveaways that are above your current level then you go into your account then go to the side menu and pick giveaways and then third one down hide giveaways above your level

No, I am talking about being able to filter the minimum requirement fully, like f.e. 4-5 if you are lvl 5, 1-2 if you are 2, etc.. Effectively excluding games that are below a certain level requirement for the purposes of using your points more efficiently.

Id find it pretty nifty if one could sort by and/or filter for required level to join the giveaway, because the chances obviously are higher for giveaways requiring higher levels to get them.
