So, unfortunately, I'm having issues with my computer and right now I can't use my GPU, and what's is left is my integrated graphics, Intel HD Graphics 2000. I've been trying a few games, but would like some recommendations for new ones to try ;)

Tested/Working Games:

  • 2064: Read Only Memories
  • Crypt of the NecroDancer
  • Door Kickers
  • Punch Club
  • Spelunky
  • Stick It To The Man!
  • The Banner Saga
  • The Binding of Isaac: Rebirth
  • The Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky
  • Torchlight

I can also recommend:

  • Praetorians (not in your library though)
  • Sunless Sea (if you like slow paced games)
  • Antichamber
  • I've hear Downwell is pretty good
  • Epistory is great (if you're into typing games)
  • Gorky 17 is really neat and challenging game despite being so old and having crappy dubbing - it's kinda similar to Banner Saga, only in different setting
  • Renowned Explorers looks awesome
  • The Walking Dead
  • Thief Gold

Just won Renowned Explorers and I'm really interested in starting to play as soon as possible. Seems like the kind of game I will be addicted really fast.

Thanks for all the recommendations :)

I won't check each game's requirements, so I will just tell you some old (most of them), but good (all of them), games:
Bully: Scholarship Edition
Age of Mythology
Age of Empires II
The Penumbra trilogy (it's on steam with the name Penumbra Collectors Pack)
Most of Daedalic Entertainment games (especially the Deponia games, the Whispered World games, Anna's Quest - ok, these aren't actually old)
The older Dead Rising games
The Book of Unwritten Tales (not sure if the 2nd one will work in your pc, but the 1st will)
The Trine trilogy (not sure if the 3rd one will work in your pc, but the other 2 will)
Most Telltale games (I doubt you'll have a problem to play them)
Call of Juarez
The remastered versions of ducktales, grim fandango, day of the tentacle (I suppose they'll work in your pc, since they're not demanding)
The older Hitman games (Blood Money was so awesome)
Medal of Honor: Airborne
Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines

Can't think of more old games currently.

You are welcome. I could suggest even better games, but I'm not sure if you'd be able to play them. xD Well, the best game of all time is Bully: Scholarship Edition, so yeah, you should check it out first, at least a gameplay trailer, and tell me what you think. ^_^ Have fun and a nice day.

Actually, I've already played this game. I'm not sure if it was the Schorlarship Edition though.

Warcraft III + Frozen Throne Expansion
Emulated Gameboy games
Tomb Raider 1 to 4
Monkey Island
Grimm Fandango
Soul Reaver

That's all I can remember for now.

Tested/Working Games:

Crypt of the NecroDancer
Door Kickers
Punch Club
Spelunky
Stick It To The Man!
The Banner Saga
The Binding of Isaac: Rebirth
The Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky
Torchlight
World of Goo

From your phrasing, I'm assuming you want a suggestion on which of these is best to play?
They're all such remarkably different games- and not a one ill-considered- that any suggestions would be a bit meaningless.
If you really can't decide, an online random number generator might be your best way to pick. :P

If your actual intent is more in line with the other answers you've received, you may want to edit your phrasing to clarify that. :)

As far as that interpretation of your prompt.. Card Hunter is free, so that may be a good one to try out.

Sorry if this sounds rude but I don't get what you're asking or rather why? It looks like you want us to look through your steam library and guess which of those games would be playable to an acceptable standard for you.

Anyway since I have no clue about your gaming standards or taste I'm going to recommend two games I recently played and enjoyed
Tiny Bridge: Ratventure
Narcissu 1st & 2nd

Have fun

-Port Royale 2
-Ouake III Arena
-Worms World Party Remastered
-Cossacks Back to War
-Stronhold Crusader HD

and the king
Heroes of Might and Magic III Complete

I think there was an older thread on this as well, try searching for it.

You can play older 2D games, they age well and should run nicely.

All of these are older games, but I would recommend them to anyone, regardless of their build (you should be able to run them):

Fate
Fable Anniversary
Bastion
Borderlands (the first one- not as good as the sequel but you could run the first one)
Dragon Age: Origins
Fallout: New Vegas

These should work on your system. Give them a try. Some good gems in there I still play from time to time with my 1060.

Bastion and Borderlands I've already played. And New Vegas... well, 219 hours playing it. It's one of my favourites :D

I wouldn't recommend any games, I think your money might be better spent on a used GPU off of ebay. Then you can at least have a much better range of options to play.
