i own both games for months, rochard probable for more than a year. Im sure id notice another rochard giveaway in past year or so, if it was just different id. But yeah it could be that too though, and my acc was sinced 1 day ago as i usually sync it midweek not to be locked out of possible free weekend games giveaways :)

yeah i know about that one, but this is giveaway for base game in both cases, and if you own goty/gold you still arent able to join those. I also have "hide giveaways for games i own" on so no idea whats going on. I mean even if i had it off, id be able to see the giveaway, not join it, right? not sure really since i have that one ticked from day one but i believe thats how it should work, in theory at least :P

Try to sync again. There's a chance something occurred during the syncing process due to the poor server performance, and the site removed certain games from your account, thinking you no longer own them.

ok now its getting really odd, apparently im able to join any game that has 2 different ids, be it goty, gold edition, 4 pack, soundtrack bundle or simply a bundle made of games from same dev (in deponia case)
i can also join detour, deponia, and i few more. and are parts of at least 2 different steam packages.
ill try resyncing now
ugh yeah, well that worked, but was wondering if i was the only one experiencing such a problem and thought if its maybe a global thing, but lets hope its just my sync went wrong. cheers and ty for your help

Sorry, forgot to mention that one month ago I was unable to enter a skyrim legandary giveaway... So this is new and buggy, because few mins ago I noticed that I can enter a Serious Sam: Second Encounter HD, even if I own it and it wasnt DLC or anything like that, base game and nothing more >.>

So not really sure whats going on but in past 10 mins i found 2 giveaways im able to join even if i shouldnt be. First it was payday 2 and i was like "oh maybe it happens because i used 4 pack to get the game" but still, was wondering how come i couldnt join it prior to today though.
and now, im also able to join Rochard giveaway, for whatever reason. And i also already own that one too.
edit: im also well aware of GOTY/gold/gameofthemonth giveaways being somewhat buggy, but its basic version giveaways im talking about here, and even if you own goty, you cant join basic game giveaway (at least you couldnt, prior to today).
Obviously im not going to join either one, but thought it should be worth a mention how something odd is going on.
