If you have been following the site, the bundle isn't on sale anymore.
What are your thoughts on it? Did you like the games in it? Did you buy it for yourself or a friend?

I think the bundle was okay. I did buy it and played the games a bit, but IndieRoyale will NEVER beat HIB! :D

Cheers

Only played Nuclear Dawn so far, I like it a lot but it really does depend on the commander, can be really fun or totally horrible.

I bought it only for Nuclear Dawn but also the other games weren't bad. Anyway I agree with everything that you have said.

I don't remember, but this seemed a lot shorter than the last one. So many bundles now.

Their best bundle yet.

Mostly bought it for ND, but the other games are all good - had Fractal and Max for iOS wishlisted, so that was just icing on the cake.

I only wanted Fractal.

Now I don't know what to do with Nuclear Dawn and Magic Marker.

HAHA.

Anyway good riddance to them.

Not allowed to do so. Only giving away to someone by a PM would be okay with the rules.

The "bundle" was only good for Nuclear Dawn, the rest of the games were obviously shoved in there to make it a bundle.

It was great if you don't already own Nuclear Dawn, but otherwise, it was one of the worse bundles.

Fractal and Max and the Magic Marker are awesome games. They weren't just "shoved in there to make it a bundle."

I actually enjoyed Super Crossfire the most - so I guess it was a good bundle?

Psh, I bought the bundle and gave the Nuclear Dawn key to a friend.

I bought it for Fractal and Super Crossfire. Multiplayer-only games don't appeal to me - there usually aren't any local servers and my friends usually won't pick the game up.

You're an idiot if you think the other games were thrown in.

friend bought 4 for him, me and 2 other friends...mainly for ND...though fractal looks interesting, too.

I found Fractal to be a somewhat good experience, Nuclear Dawn is good, but the lack of servers in my region doesnt help at all, as for Max and the magic marker, i was hoping for a bit more freedom in terms of using the marker instead of just being a plattformer.

As for the latest one, i still havent try it yet, i have to download it.

For its price, i think it was ok, still cannot beat HiB

Didn't buy it, because I already owned Nuclear Dawn. Was interested in Max & The Magic Marker because it reminds me of playing Crayon Physics, but not for $5.

When I bought it, I thought "Super Crossfire" would be the weakest title in it. As it turns out, it is the only title that I really liked. Nuclear Dawn is okay, but don't think I will play it again. There is too much frustration, when the commander isn't good. Max and the Magic Marker seems to aim at a lower age. Fractal is too random... everything is a bit disappointing. However I really enjoyed Super Crossfire, so I guess the bundle paid off.

I bought it just because of Nuclear Dawn. On the free weekend I hated it, but now I like it. Preety amazing :)
But I must say that Source engine fails on me sometimes and gives me lags(not server lags, but control lags)

I had a hard time to set up the video options. On one map there were snowflakes, which simply kill any fluid gameplay. I really can't understand, why they don't have an option to disable weather-effects as seen in all other source-games. And yes, you're right: Source has never been as accurate in controls as the Unreal engine or similar engines. However that doesn't stop me from collecting hats ;)

Maybe I'll give it another chance. I think it would be better, if you can't build to the oponents base or if you at least don't have to.

I agree, I got the bundle for Nuclear Dawn... and I don't really like it.

It's extremely similar to the free mod called "Empires", only it actually has less variety, as Empires has vehicles and much larger maps. The RTS/FPS blend has been done better in other titles and the pure FPS action is a lot weaker than any of the recently released FPS multiplayer focused games. That combination makes it hard for me to go play Nuclear Dawn of any other title.

Not a bad game by any stretch but it really needed to add something of it's own to the formula for it to be worth while.

i bought it for myself. this is probably the royale bundle i've been least interested in so far -- the first one still stands as the only one with 2 games i actually had heard of and wanted. humble bundles seem to have better games and support charity, but i still sort of like the craziness of royale's pricing system.
