Ah, I see you had to delete the other one. I've beaten your previous sgtools protection, I will beat your riddles too!....eventually

I'm not sure that I understand it right. Are the letters identical?

Clue:
I start with two, then two again,
But twist my middle, and you'll begin to see. (2 letters)
A playful change, from day to night,
I'm not a person, but I'm quite a sight. (1 letter)
Next, my end, a letter tall,
It rises up, and stands up straight,(1 letter)
I bring some warmth, a friendly touch,
With a kiss, a hug, or just a clutch.(1 letter)

Tried a couple things but nada. Would be interested in knowing the cases for the letters as well.

well, figured out every other letter except 3rd, tried bruteforcing by this clue - didn't work( Also tried with both possible variations of 4th letter, just in case, still didn't work....feeling stupid now

Even knowing what this letter is, I have no idea how you'd derive it from the riddle.
A playful change, from day to night,
I'm not a person, but I'm quite a sight.
My best guess is that it is describing a clock hands, but this seems a bit farfetched. And the same thing with the first 2 letters, I just have no idea how you'd get these characters from the riddle. I'm not interested in the giveaway, mind you, because I already own the game, but this riddle is quite perplexing, and not in a good way

During my experiments with finding the answer I have found another giveaway: Precursors 😅
Has someone found it too?
Still trying to find out the right combination.

I find it quite obscure. Even when I'm sure of a letter cause of some of your other, more direct, hints, I can't really find a connection with the lines of your original riddle.
Excuse the maybe dumb question. You say you are "describing the letters", but what you're actually doing is describing a word or a name that starts with one of those letters? Or you're actually describing the letters based on their shape, their use or whatever?
Edit: nevermind, I see you've basically posted the solution seconds after my post and answered my question. I'm still totally confused by the original riddle, though.

Well I got one letter right! (Which was just the first D). I'm going to need an explanation from someone smarter that got more than one letter right. Still think it was a cool puzzle idea though.

Now tell me who I am,
My name's a mystery, but you'll understand!
