Played a fair bit of WoW myself, and despite already delving into the indie scene now and then prior to joining SG, I was still taken aback by some incredible finds through giveaways and bundles here.
And yes, bundles are absolutely godsent for the money-pinched/frugal avid gamer... only wished I had known about them earlier hehe :P
Happy 10th anniversary and happy new year in advance, and here's to more years to come! 🍻

Hello Everyone!
Hopefully all of you had a wonderful Christmas and the remaining holiday season is going great as well.
So, for my account, kinda a special day is incoming. Within the profile section, the whole new text should appear... Yep, January 5th is my 10 years anniversary on this site! Previously, I simple ignored such occasions, but as it is a round number, this time, I was reminded not to ignore and treat it a bit more seriously.
And I didn't ignore it. A train was prepared (everyone loves a train ride, right? :) ). Before the tickets are distributed, a few disclaimers first:
Here it goes, Journey starts here! (please be aware that a very basic link adjustment is required).
I'm not really sure how I was introduced to SG, most probably I was just looking for some free stuff. Anyway, somehow I did learn about SG and create an account here. At first, it looked like a scam, because my first win (Grid) was undelivered. Then, that massive Faerie Solitaire distribution appeared and that was my first, officially redeemed, win! Well, it was a massive 25k giveaway, so every single entry was a winner :) It confirmed the site as a legit, at least as a semi legit one :) and the rest is history.
Prior to SG, I was a huge World of Warcraft fan (more than a year in game played time), but SG (as well as Steam) was a massive portal to a different landscape, particularly the Indy games scenery. And boy, it did change everything. There were some many great games and in most cases, I was not even aware about most of them. And bundles... bundles were something out of this world!
Good luck and have a happy New Year!
