People spent around $130 on Battlefield 1 at launch to get the base game, the deluxe edition extras, and the season pass.
Now, not even a year later, you can get the "Revolution Edition" which includes all of what I mentioned above, for $60. You can get it for even cheaper at CDKeys for around $45 if you use their discount code. Even Origin has bundled this new Revolution edition with Titanfall 2 for a decent price for both games. Speaking of decent prices, the Ultimate Edition of Star Wars Battlefront is only $5 and the season pass is free!
Here's a video of a guy complaining about how he got burned by pre-ordering the ultimate edition before launch.
I would feel horrible if I pre-ordered the ultimate edition. I get hype and all that, but sooner or later there will be a complete edition for cheap. Why screw yourself over? This Revolution Edition has the Battlefield community in an uproar because it came out so early. Some people just never learn lol
The Score - Revolution
If you want to try Battlefield 1 for free for 10 hours, you can get the trial here.
