97 for me. Mainly for saying things that people don't agree with. I mean, it's their right, so I don't really hold it against them. Obviously some people thought I was dangerous or whatever.

Personally, I don't blacklist anymore. People will always have alternating opinions and trying to punish them for it leads to nothing good. Sure, some people are like me who have stopped caring, but for others, it might discourage them from commenting (seen in this thread) or it might create animosity against the community.

I personally try to hear out everyone and I like challenging my own personal beliefs and ideas, so you'll often see me "picking a fight" by asking people extra info on their presented ideas or by immediately challenging them. Most people I've done this with tend to be great sports about it. We might have an argument/discussion, but all in all, it's all fine because most people discussing stuff on these forums are normal, well-adjusted adults.

To those that are angered that you were blacklisted, let it go. Those people who blacklist for differing opinions you are the silent ones. They have no ideas of their own and they aren't really the smartest folks around. Those that actually have the mettle to discuss things tend to also keep their cool and not lash out in childish ways. Unless you say something extremely bad (something that isn't an argument, but instead some extreme hateful thing) then the blacklists you receive will most likely reflect that those people just don't want a hateful person to enter in their giveaways.

I made a similar thread and got a good few... we're at a nice 25:84 Whitelists:Blacklists.

Surprisingly only seven so far, at least until I inevitably get a ton more for making this comment lol. I get at least one every time I create a discussion or acknowledge their existence, it used to bother me but it literally just means me and some random user out of the million registered on this site can't enter each others giveaways.

IMO I don't see any good reason at all for SG to put how many people blacklist you on display in your stats page by default, I get how much SG loves its statistics and it's not a huge issue but still that red colored graph makes it feel a lot more negative and personal than it should

I'm at 57. My blacklist count is directionally proportionate to my comment frequency - my whitelist count is higher and is seemingly directly proportionate to my giveaway frequency.

Blacklists are simply the price of being honest and true to yourself - a price worth paying imo.

I'm not even sure where the button is...some people have wayy to much time on their hands

52 blacklists, tho i honestly expected it to be higher. i blacklist people who i consider to be assholes and thus do not want to participate in their giveaways/for them to participate in mine. use it as a filtering system, that's what it's there for right?

i had cleared mine out in January but it's getting filled again cos of certain threads, sigh.

I have 94 blacklists, but I have a very decent wl to bl ratio to compensate for it, so I can't complaint.

It would seem I fall into the "naughty boy" category. One of the drawbacks of being "high profile" is that you draw more attention, both positive and negative.
