Help! Can you give away games that PREVIOUSLY were free?

Not usually. You will know for sure if you don't have the option of making a giveaway for that game. You can always just post the key in discussions or one of your other giveaways though, which is what I usually do.

Check the outcome of your poll, that will tell you enough.

Yes, you can give them away on the forum, but no, you cannot create a giveaway to get CV points.

If you get them for free, that doesn't mean that they are free right now. Logicaly If you have keys you can craete the giveaway with them, even if the game cost less than one peny it still a game, a gift, so a giveaway!

Also, I just thought you should be warned just in case- never post a game under a different name. If you cannot create a giveaway for the game you want to give away it means that it's not allowed to create a giveaway for it.

For example- Adventures of Shuggy - you cannot make a giveaway for it since it was free. You cannot make a listing for (let's say) Bard Rats and say in the description that you couldn't find Adventures of Shuggy so you made a gibs for Bad Rats but you'll give Shuggy to the winner.

I'm not saying you would do this, I just thought it should be said as its been known to happen :)

If you can create giveaways for it you can if you can't it's deleted from the list.

You can drop keys or make some events for it.

Actually you can on occasion. Like the sky mercenary is still available for GA, im guessing because it was a limited GA. Also in the past, I have seen some games that were free, allowed to be added to GAs after a long period....So the answer is...If the game is listed as an option, and if it isn't a new free game, then you can. If it just became free, the option will still be there, but i'm assuming once they remove it, your GA will be deleted and completed GA will be deducted from your value...I assume.
