Oh. Hopefully I'll be able to get a few Hexoscope copies from the trades section then. I really liked that game, should spread it around a bit. ^_^

I have it, played it, and now I hope to make some giveaways for it to spread the joy. I actually have 10 or so keys now, I just need to get around planning how to find some nice homes for the keys.

Wow, a game with a bunch of minimalistic mazes that is the sort of thing that really has no business being on Steam or anyone actually charging money for it for that matter. A shining example of the plague of garbage that has invaded Steam.

I once made a minimalist game for myself (It was a game I loved playing on a PocketPC and missed it when I moved to a BlackBerry).
I had no commercial intent with it, and simply shared it on my favorite BlackBerry forums one Sunday.
Turned out to be highly addictive for others too, and ended up selling a few thousand dollars worth of copies.
And this was back in 2008 strictly on the BB market.

I agree with you that a bunch of crappy games end up on STEAM.

We also have games on STEAM (we are developers), since 2010, when there was no GL and you actually had to make games,

I have a niece who a couple of years ago liked to do mazes like that, but even she wouldn't have found this 'game' any challenge from what I saw. Never mind that there are plenty of places to get free mazes or programs that people have written that will generate random ones of various sizes based on your input parameters and even allow you to print them. This game is way too rudimentary to actually charge money for it. It's certainly not the only one that I have seen that can be described that way though.
