yep, everybody has to live with that, there is even groups who disguise as english groups.

I've found that all of those invites stop once you set your inventory to private. I figure those people are just trying to beg/trade for some item or game you have.

I set my inventory to private a few months ago and haven't had a single random invite.

I get Russian and Portuguese group invites. And I ignore the heck out of them. :P

I am Russian, and I don't get any invites. So, now you know what you should do.

I made a thread about this some time ago. I have 10 outstanding invites as we speak. When I can be bothered I'm just going to report them all to Steam support for sending spam invites. No idea if that will change anything but it can't hurt to try.

Nope, at least 2-3 in a week I got invite for a Russian CS or Gaming group.

I got it too. Only started recently. Last time it was just 1 invite every few months, now it's daily.

You're not the only one, you must join the dark side and the invites will STAHP.

well... the one day I got invited to a group (can't remember what) but I got invited to this group of a guy who haven't even logged on in 1300+ days. O.o

I'm from Russia and I receive so many invites to Russian and non-Russian groups, but I don't need them. Yes, it's annoying, but it I can ignore them all, that's it. Just ignore the invites, man. Why create a thread about it? Is it your biggest problem in life?

yeah i get them too, im not from russia or connected to then in any way.. sick of thoose invites :(
