People have 2 weeks (14 days) to either email you or add you to Steam and send you the gift. Be patient.

It isn't an automatic system, the person who created the giveaway has to manually send it to you. Give it a week or two, keep checking your email and Steam friend requests and if it doesn't come then, contact support.

"I won a giveaway, but haven't received the gift.
The giveaway creator has 1 week to email it before you can mark the gift as "Not received". If it's been more than 24 hours since the giveaway ended try and add the giveaway host to Steam and remind them to send the gift."

Also keep in mind people from across the world use this site - it may be their night time, etc.

ga creator has 7 days to send you that game. after 7 days you can mark it as not received if he doesn't give you that game. before that you can try to contact him

If it's only been one or two days, leave him be, it can be considered rude to add him straight away. Just wait, he might be busy.

If after 6 days, you still haven't heard of him, add him and politely remind him that you won his giveaway.

My mind is boggled by the amount of people who just simply don't read the rules/faq upon joining the site or whenever they have a question about its operation.
