Hey guys, do you know any bands or tracks that could fit atmosphere of Hotline Miami? These tracks are not enough, I need MOAR. If you think that you have something miamish or something in that way, post a link, I'd be thankful!

Ehh... this is kind of a long shot but you could give this mixtape a try. I have listened to it a hell of a lot, and some of the songs from there would fit in a more "cheerful" version of the game. Maybe one where Jacket is delivering pizza on his rollerblades during daytime. Anyways, really great 80's sounding synth pop mix, give it a try.

Other than that, Indian Jewelry sounds a bit like the more psychedelic songs (especially Sun Araw's). Try Bombing Night Clubs, Walk Through Fire, Eva Cherie, maybe Oceans too. You'll find a few fitting there, but they're more like indie rock/noise rock rather than electronic stuff.

Ah, one more song, Stuntman by Kasabian always sounded like a good song to be put into the game. If they ever make a bigger budget movie, it would be a perfect fit.

Aaaand another one, though it's rather hard to find: Hawken Sawshine by Sun Araw. I wonder why they didn't include this one. No youtube links for that one, you could try his bandcamp albums, maybe you'll find it on some of them. I have no idea what album it belongs to...

Well, if you're a Spotify-user, you can check out a playlist I made after playing that game.

Well, thank you very much! :D
I originally did it for myself (which is why there are some local tracks), but I guess it doesn't hurt to spred it to others as well.

Aphasia Records
"Aphasia Records is a new music label and a collective focused on 80s based synth music."
Perturbator is a member of this label, you probably find some others artists that you'll like :)

There's a ton of "retrowave" stuff like that on Bandcamp. Check out Mitch Murder as well. He's awesome.

By the way, for those who want to have the soundtrack, if you purchased the game and you have it in Steam, you can get the whole soundtrack in the Steam folder apps, just go to the windows file explorer, in the Hotline Miami folder. Ogg format.

Have a nice day :)

Miami Nights 1984
They've got the nostalgic 80s electronic feel down to an art form.
album: Turbulence

VHS Head
Lots of sound sampling and more experimental. You might call it "glitchy" electronic.
album: Trademark Ribbons of Gold

I haven't played Hotline Miami but i assume it has 80's music , than you should check out the soundtrack of the film Drive , especially Kavinsky and the soundtrack of Vice City .

I was sad that the HiB8 didn't even include the soundtrack for the game. It was the only one that didn't at least in the main bundle, but it's the only soundtrack out of all the HB games that I've ever actually cared about!
