The idea is that the dev sent us a pack which contains both the original game and the remastered dlc for his F2P game, but, it requires the activation of the DLC first. https://steamdb.info/sub/240041/apps/
 
So one should first add the free license to one's account before receiving the DLC for it + the game in question. Sorry for the convolution.
