[Steam 2018 Spring Cleaning Event] [Predictions] What's in the box?

It's a binder. For summer sale activities. And after you completed the summer sale task? another mystery box.

A discount coupon. But by knowing steam's greed, I think it'll probably be either for a specific game or it'll be a non-stackable coupon. xD

It will contain a certain number of Steambucks that can be used in Steam's Summer Sale Casino game were you can win more Steambucks playing slots, video poker, etc. and then if you win enough you can go to the Casino gift shop and buy things like maybe certain games or backgrounds, emotes, etc.

I would think it's something related to the summer sale. As to what exactly, I agree with the commenters who said it'll be something disappointing :D

it's half life 3 for free !!!! nah... comming from vale im sure it's some sort of crappy "sticker" to some crappy steam sales "pictures album" XD

I +1 the dissapointment.
Then again this was the first event since the Summer Clicker game where Valve cared to bother, even if slightly, so maybe they actually have something planned again for the Summer rather than just a snoozefest sale with everything upfront, no dailies or flash to get your excided and check more than once every day just to @#%%# the discovery queue of shitty recommendations.

But yeah, it'll likely be a random coupon or one trading card or something.

Just an empty box. We are all cats and there's no better gift than an empty box.

Since it is Valve, the most likely possibilities are:

1. Randomly assigned coupon from the standard coupon pool.
2. A low-level lootbox cardpack for their upcoming lootbox card game.
3. A random 3-cent TF2 hat.
4. A random 3-cent CS:GO skin.
5. An additional summer sale trading card, but not a foil.
6. An extra special sticker for the summer sale album.
7. A one-time offer you can put on any support ticket that will make it closed one day later than usual, but still without any human answer, just the normal computer-generated one.

I think it will be more than one item but they will all be small things. Since it is from spring cleaning I'm guessing it will be a random assortment of emoticons and backgrounds from previous sales, as if the box contains the random crap that has accumulated over time.

This is anything might be useful in a future sale. Isn't cards, games and in-games items, these things isn't useful in a sale.

It contains a giftcard about 50€/$ or similar currency value for each registered user within an apologizing letter for every stupid anti-customer rule and platform "feature" during the last years. That's why the package is a bit bigger because the letter is so long >.<

A plush penguin would be also nice ;]

Has anyone opened their box yet? Mine has an "open box" button now, that the sale started. However, it also warns me that opening it cannot be undone, so I'd like some more info ... depending on what others found in their box, I even even keep it for the Winter sale, if that's possible?

Just cosmetics for a temporary game? I think I'll keep the box :)
