Can you find 5 WL GAs from those 5 people, and see if you can enter them (the GAs, not the people)?

I tried that, and all of their whitelist GAs (except maybe one member's) were combined with group GAs for groups I'm already a member of.

Looks like you were right about syncing it. Apparently, ESGST didn't know that I was a member of certain groups even though I joined said groups before getting ESGST.

Your Steamgifts.com account was probably out of sync with your Steam account and I'm guessing ESGST reads your account data here rather than directly from Steam. Had you joined those groups since your the last time you synced your Steamgifts account?

Yes, I had been a member of those groups well before I last synced my Steamgifts account to my Steam account (3 days ago). It turns out ESGST doesn't sync at all when you first install it, meaning it didn't know I was a member of those groups and assumed I had been whitelisted instead (it didn't even know I owned games that I purchased back in 2012).

Right, checker is group sync dependent now. Probably a note should be put somewhere.

Steamgifts, obviously. Any data pulled from the source will be the incorrect one, if there is any lack of correlation between the two of them.
