A bit late now, but was there a way to get the game from the web store?

I only saw the "Play Now" button from the webpage that would just show launch or download. Ended up downloading the app and was able to get it from there but annoying that there didn't seem to be a way get from the web page, guess that might be their intention, to get you to download their launcher. Unless it's just a regional thing?

I can't believe it. Uplay only asked me for administrator permission once to update? And they added collections to the library page?! They finally made their launcher a bit better!
Only took them 10 years.
So I press the play now button on the site, let the game launch on uplay, cancel the download and that's it? I'm not sure because the store page looks the same

Edit: Of course it crashes when I exit it. Damn it Ubisoft.

While manually looking up the game in store it only gave me it's actual price tag. So thanks for the right link.
installed Ubi connect. Clicked in browser to get the game. Connect started to install the game, I canceled but the license was already added to my acc. Uninstalled Ubiconnect. Will play on GeforceNOW if I can stand this art style.

Also had to get it through launching the app from the webstore, then pausing and cancelling the download. It shows up in my Ubisoft library and Playnite picked it up as a license on my accounts, so I have it!

Thanks for the direct claim link. I was going to add it to my gf's library and my nephew's but I didn't want to switch the accounts on my launcher.

strange, i clicked the direct claim but my game count isn't increasing...

Always remember to check if it's in Your library (like OP said)
I claimed some games from UBI 30, even though it said I got them they never went to my account and support asked for a video recording of me redeeming the free game lol

Bought the game and the dlcs some month ago, it's a decent Zelda clone.

I can't get it either through the launcher or on the website, it just redirects me to enter the product key. Please do for Russia and everyone the same thing you did with Watch Dogs 2, just link it to the accounts of those who couldn't get it.

For me the situation was like this: on web PC Ubisoft.com asked me to download launcher to claim the game.When i tried to claim the game in the launcher,i was asked to click "OK" ro confirm.After doing that,i was rerouted to the "Please enter licence or key to unlock (AAA-BBB-......,this stuff).It didn't continue if i wouldn't type anything,and if i would type anything it just would give me "This key doesn't exist ".All i could do other on this page was to ask for help from Technical support.I thought "Let's try any other free game,maybe it's just Immortals Fenyx Rising problem?No,it works like this for ANY GAME.Awesome.I tried to find any information on how to fix this on the internet.I found a discussion on steam,which opened on 14 June 2025.The answer was : "Yeah,it won't let you claim anything on PC web or in the launcher.The only solution to this is to use Ubisoft.com on mobile".Try this — WOW FIRST TIME.That problem exists for MONTHS that's so horrible.
