(Riddle) Humble Botanicula Debut giveaway

I got an extra gift link to the Humble Botanicula Debut, so I thought to give it away on here. But also to have some fun with it I'm using a riddle.

What word starts with an E, ends with an E, has an E in the middle but usually has only one letter?

The first person to figure it out will get the bundle, which comes with Botanicula, Machinarium, and Samorost 2.
I'll check the thread each day so please be patient.
