I'm at 25/29 so I did, Steam Discovery, Watch Broadcast and post a video (repost My greenlight video :D), and I got that badge at 28/29.
I didn't do two-factor authenticator, should I make it to 29/29?

It doesn't actually have to be your real name. The description even says that.
You can also remove your phone number and disable 2 factor authorization right after completing those steps.

Yeah, I'm not confident people will be smart about that though. I've seen a lot of profiles with people's real names on them, viewable to the entire internet.
2-factor auth is actually a great idea... if you can trust your phone is secure or won't ever be stolen, which pretty much nobody can. I'd rather do that than trust email though.

That kind of thinking is what gets people's accounts stolen. It's just better to be safe and never reveal or correlate your real identity to your public accounts. It's probably fine if you only let the public index and store your first name, but why would you want to?

Do you have some worthless background or emote? You can send it to a trashbot. It counts.
Or I have an alt account for bundle game cards with a quick match function. It may find you some duplicates you can trade, if you have time to wait (not like the badge is going anywhere).

Cool! Tried trashbot, but i didn't close the trade cause his description says he doesn't accept gifts. And when i put up a trade without asking for anything back steam labels it as a gift so i dunno.
I'd rather try your alt account route. Might be my best option instead. I'll do it after work.

Okay. That alt account also has its trade link on the profile, so you can always just use that too. (Trade links don't require friend requests… something that's a good idea for a change related to Steam.)
If you don't find any cards, just send an emote and I'll send it back. Any trade transaction does it, so it's not a big hassle. :)

Hey talgaby bro, sorry i didn't get back to you. I clicked on the link above last night and i got a message that says: ":( Unfortunately, it looks like you have no duplicate items to trade with this user!" so i couldn't make a trade. I'm pretty sure I have no FB, MS or Apple tracking software in my phone, thanks. Google, ok, knows a lot about me since I use Android.
Valve software can be less "malign" but in the cost/benefit ratio, Valve's benefit figure is far lower.
