The Brahmin cows actually make a return in Fallout: New Vegas (NV).
There is an unmarked quest called "The Screams of Brahmin", where you will solve the case of murdered Brahmins.
Also, you can consume Brahmin Meat in NV.
These 2 pages will show if you can activate NV is India without problems:

Likewise, Dragon Age: Inquisition was banned in India for homosexual game scenes. Even though Mass, and Dead Effect are still on sale -- with full homesexual scenery.

For some reason, Fallout New Vegas and Fallout 3 are not available in my region (I reside in India). FO:3 was cancelled apparently in India due to the Brahmin-cows and religious backlash, but there's no reason why Vegas isn't there. I received FO:3 as a gift a long while ago, and it works just fine. I was hoping to acquire a copy of NV from a friend in Netherlands. However due to the new trading restrictions I'm not sure if it will even work on an Indian IP anymore. Can someone please confirm this?
TL;DR will Fallout:NV as a gift from Europe work in India where it is currently not available in the region?
