I wouldnt worry too much, just steam having one of those days

During the summer, the Steam platform usually encounters more of this kind of errors, possible because of some people going on holidays, I'm sure it will get fixed shortly. At worse, it should be working after tomorrow's weekly maintenance.

Perhaps there is excessive traffic due to major media outlets covering the Steam terms of service issue.
I occasionally get a 503 error.
