The two rebundles reduce the BTA appeal, though PA at least has MP nowadays so it's always possible to rope in a friend who didn't have it before.

Is there any precedent for this? I don't think Wayforward will grant the ultimate to owners. I thought they had a loyalty discount, but only for launch.

I don't know if it's lack of good will toward HiB on my side, or game selection being kind of... not for me... I have Prison Architect already, and Shanty is tier too far for my spending abilities right now so... yeah... another one bytes the dust (skipping).

Exactly, they are fine games I guess, just... you know... backlog... time... age... whatever. There was a time when I'd buy it just because it's good games. That time has passed. Now I'm not paying if I'm not playing.

Tier 1 is really great, I don't have any and I'm interest in all 3. Not interested in the only game I don't have from BTA and too bad Shantae isn't the Ultimate Edition

It's not the greatest, but also not the worst. Not going to spend 10 bucks on Shantae, I own 2/3 games from BTA, but I will gladly DISTRAINT 2 for a buck, not to mention 2 bonus games ;p

Agreed. If you want the extra content, you have to pay more than the Ultimate Edition.

So, for now, IMO, T3 isn't worth it.

I think he means you can redeem the Steam key from this bundle even if you already own the game because Paradox cheated with the appIDs (they added a new one just for this batch of keys, since it's a different appID from the one you own, your key is redeemed -and wasted- if you try it instead of giving the usual "AlreadyOwned/Duplicate" error).

If I remember correctly, they add 'nonexistant' dlcs to base game keys so they are technically different 'games'.
What does it mean:
I own prison architect
Yet if I would try to activate the key from the bundle, it would get used up without adding anything.
