So recently I've been having issues with the Steam store. It seems that while I remain logged into the Steam community (profiles, etc.) perpetually, my login to the store keeps expiring after as few as three clicks just browsing titles on the site. This forces me to have to re-authenticate many times if I'm doing a lot of looking around.

Anyone else experience this? It started happening to me about 1-2 weeks ago.

Running Chrome on Win10-x64. I've tried completely emptying my browser cache of all data, but that doesn't solve the problem.

Update:

It appear the add-on script "SteamGifts Steam Ratings" is the culprit, at least in the case of myself and Heisenbear. I turned it off and have remained logged into the store through Chrome continuously for ~36 hours. Hopefully this is a fix for others as well!

It's not a bug, it's a feature!

It's been batshit random on logging me out, the past few months, on Firefox and Chrome both.
Really, ever since they implemented phone validation of login, actually- though it seems to have gotten worse since then.

But yeah, I'll go 3 or 4 days without issue at times, other times I'll have to basically log in 4 times in a row before it "takes".
This is true in-client, as well, though it at least doesn't require re-validation, just refreshing and automatic relogging.

Of course, if it's not ever "taking" for you, then:
Firstly:  :/
Second:
Are you using phone validation? Perhaps it's more consistently bad without it activated.
Have you tried another browser? Did you make sure cookie settings are properly configured, both in browser and any security programs you might be using?
Have you tried not using Valve products-
..oh, hang on, guess that doesn't work here. :X

I've got authenticator enabled on my phone. I'd usually go for at least several hours before my login expired, which was fine. Then suddenly it's even happening as I'm clicking through their freaking front page advertisements. :P

Same happen to me some moths ago, i was using Firefox. I usually log in trough comunity, but when i go to store i was not login anymore. At some point the "issue" just "banished" and i was able to move from community to store and back withou the need to login in every site.

So I logged off the Steam client on my phone last night to make sure it wasn't force-expiring my Chrome session and did an experiment. Turns out Chrome still ditched the store login in less than a minute. However my login to Steam through the Win10 Edge browser remains active nine hours later.

Weird, I'm also using Chrome and I don't think I've ever had this problem. Only thing I can remember is sometimes when Steam is having issues and it shows I'm online on several sections of the site, and not on some but I guess it's expected when it's having issues.

Mine started right after the summer sale. Different computers, different browsers. Enhanced steam and not. Three different OS even. I do have phone validation turned on.

Happened to me all the time, but now it stopped. For a while checking the box under the login window helped, now it seems it just works finally.

Hmm. Might try it again. Currently browsing with Edge. It has kept the store login active for over a day now.

Oh, thank god, I thought it was just my problem =)
Happens all the time on Crome since the summer sale - usually after I'm closing the browser. There were a few time when I refreshed the page and got logged in again, but it usually doesn't help. I thought the reason was either Crome extensions (especially proxy extensions I'm using for Nuuvem and other sites blocked in my country), or that I'm logging in on different PCs - at home and at work, but I could not find a solution, because it keeps happening no matter what I try.

It's a feature they implemented after the previous Winter Sale, when the SSL went crazy and people could login as other random users.
