who preordered this game ive got a question for you

EDIT: so it turns out that the helpful poster was right that (ROW) means rest of world..

still not to sure why i got two copy's of the game (not complaining) esp since the other one doesnt appear to have a region lock on it

in my gifts section, one is called Xcom EU and the other one is call xcom: EU (ROW)

i jsut dont know what the differance is since when i click on go to store page it brings me to the same store page for both

That's pretty easy there. The ROW one can be activated anywhere, the EU one only locked to EU for activation and maybe play.

sorry being drunk im kinda lzy to type the whole words

but they are both called Xcom:enemy unknown and one of them has (ROW) added after the name.

perhaps i just dont understand what you meant to say.. but i dotn think they are region specific

The one without the ROW may be region locked as I said, though I'm not too sure which region. Only those that have ROW are confirmed to be able to activate anywhere.

you are supposed to get the XCOM bundle as the tier 3 preorder gift..

i allready owned XCOM:EU and now the bundle had been added to my library and i have 2 gift copys of XCOM EU in my inventory

I know that Tier 3 grants the XCOM bundle which includes XCOM EU.

What I don't understand is why 2 gift copies of XCOM EU are being given to those who previously owned it. Shouldn't be just one?

its why i made the topic, to see if there was any one else ( which there is) or if any one knew what the (row) after one of them meant, Snowlepoard thinks one of them is region locked to northamerica and the other isnt region locked..

Preordered from GMG (for ~$20) ... There is a key showing in my account (for Spec Ops) already, but nothing for the other XCOM bundle. Also, it's showing here as still locked, but I'm not sure if it's related to the actual Steam preorder unlocks, or their own GMG preorder count.

Ah, I presume they're just being laggy on the unlocking (confirms here that it's global preorder count). As long as I get them at some point, I'm not going to complain too much - I do already own them anyway, so the keys will just be traded/gifted away.

Not sure about that, other than that (as above) one of them is global (Rest Of World) and the other is for a particular region. I presume it'll be a North America version if it's not tagged ... but can't find much confirming on SteamDB other than this.

if you want to play it, you'd get a few other games as preorder bonus, and xcom enemy unknown (in the third tier bonus) is going to be similar in play style but declassified is gonna be different in it own aspects
