Nah, I only played it for playfire achievements. It's ok for, like an hour, and then you will get tired of it.

Retro city rampage is at 1 usd right now.
Cheap games i can recommend. Well, yesterday i started Cthulu saves the world. it is at 3 usd along with breath of death. Retro rpgs, good stuff.
There is a steam group called Opium Pulses Savings. (clicky)[http://steamcommunity.com/groups/OpiumPulsesSavings] There is a guy called Renjility on the discussion tab. Ask first for availability though. He is honest, and delivers 12-16 hours after you pay at most. Do it overnight, i have bought quite some games from him.

With the workshop it could be worth $10. If you're basing the value off the base game I'd wait until it drop a couple of bucks then buy it. You really only buy the game for a couple of cheap laughs and that's really it. I checked out the workshop and there are a lot of stuff that would give you about another 5-10 hours of more fun. So if you can end up picking it up for like $5 on a sale then it's worth it.

Nope I got the game for $10 and I only played it for an hour (counting the times where I was afk). There is a mod where it connects chat to other players.

Based on anecdotal evidence and YouTube videos:
No. Definitely not.
It's worth 30 minutes of gameplay. 30 minutes of ridiculous, somewhat insane, possibly
fun
gameplay, but it ultimately boils down to 30 minutes of Tony Hawk with a goat after which everything looks like it just gets boring because there's nothing left to do.

Sure, if you like it, it's definitely worth it.
It really depends on the player, their personality and their views on gaming.
Are you the kind of person who likes 2 b L337 and 360 noscope all teh nubz in coll o' doody going 17 and 0 on ur KDA??/ Probably not the game for you.
Like complex puzzle games which will challenge you mentally? Probably not for you.
Are you the kind of person who likes to dick around in games just to see what kind of zany things you can find, or make happen? Get it, get it now.

From developers:
"Disclaimer: Goat Simulator is a completely stupid game and, to be honest, you should probably spend your money on something else, such as a hula hoop, a pile of bricks, or maybe pool your money together with your friends and buy a real goat."

Worth it if you play it with some friends, or alcohol, or if you enjoy goats.
