I think it is, mainly due to the fact that it comes with Achievements, the Challenge Rooms, a Museum Tour you can take from the Main Menu before you play the game, and Director Commentary that you can watch (you can find the Film Reels in certain locations in the game, and you can watch them whenever you want. They are interesting to watch.). The graphics have had an overhaul as well.

A word of warning, however! There ARE crashes, and you should make sure you use as many save game slots as you can. What I did was save in new slots for a while, and then save over older ones when needed. I left the recent ones alone, as the game has crashed during the save process, which wipes out that save file completely (as in it is deleted).

I would pick up the Bioshock & Bioshock 2 Bundle when it goes on sale....wait, I just realized they don't sell the regular versions anymore. I would wait for the Bioshock Collection to go on a good sale before purchasing it, but I have noticed a fair number of Bioshock and Bioshock 2 giveaways here. And when you have the regular version in Steam, the Remastered version is added free (I don't think that was a limited time offer).:)
