[Suggestion] Replies Page

I was thinking about making it such that when you click on the topic name in the replies page, it'll take you to the exact reply.
Also, I just want to get opinions before I actually start sending in a support ticket for it.

EDIT: I'll be leaving this thread up even though there was a previous one about this.

It still links direct to each comment, making it such that you don't have to manually search them out.

Should depend on which link you clicked on. If you clicked on the link to the thread provided with reply #7 on your Replies page for that thread then it should take you to reply #7.

I wouldn't mind if the reply page actually worked. In fact, I'd like to see a page where you can see your own posts, not just ones that have been replied to.

Presumably a list of all your recent posts (listed by time/date order). This would be quite handy, as would being able to see this list for other users.

Yep.

And what I mean with the replies page not working is that frequently people can reply to a post I made and it doesn't show up on that page. Of course, I can't immediately rustle up an example but I don't think I'm the only one who has this.

Personally I'd like to see an additional item at the top of the screen for replies (maybe between "Giveaways" and "Account") with a bracketed figure denoting the number of replies (similar to the points total shown next to "Account").

I would also, but first there needs to be this as the foundation for the replies for giveaways to work properly.

This has been discussed before, and mainly due to the high number users who always hijack the first comment just to ensure their inane "thx" comment appears at the top of the pile, this wasn't a popular change.

I agree that it would be good to be notified of giveaway replies, but I guess that has to be balanced against the downsides.

Maybe completely overhaul the forum sytem with PhpBB, MyBB, SMF or any other forum software(vB is the best paid one out there IMO). It'll make things a lot lot more organised. It will be perfect IMO.

The thing is currently the forums is integrated with the main site.

But a proper forum organised into various sections will be lot better. Game deals on one section, Offtopic and so on. Maybe you can enable login via Steam to the forum so that we don't need to make new accounts again(and site can be accessed with unified login system)

When you sign in to the main site, you're automatically signed in to the forums also currently.
