I have so much respect for the people who made all the guides for dark souls but especially the 2 I used. Made it so much easier even if I still spent so much time trying to work out where the heck I was. Next 2 goes should be a lot faster at least

Yeah I was considering if I could maybe fit in a long game I will just have to see what games I get picked for play or pay first. I would say suguri but honestly I dislike shoot'em up so if I'm going to be playing that for the backstory for 100% orange juice, I'm going to need the rest so I can just push through them all

Thanks and I had to do so much in that short time, if I didn't I would've dropped it. Now I've completed it at least once I can slow down to work towards to remaining 2 endings and collectables. My time isnt even as close to what my friend had when I had family sharing with them active. All they played was dark souls 3 until I kicked them off. Even when they 100% they ended up with their own copy and still played it

Deadlight I would put into the shooter and survival category. You have to survive zombies so there you go ;)
And Morningstar: Descent to Deadrock is about a crashlanded merchant vessel where you have to fight for the survival of your crew and ship.

I'm Marching on with Yakuza 0, which turned out to be an amazingly crazy and fun game. But since I love exploring everything everywhere and the numerous side quests in Yakuza 0 are even more fun than the main story itself, I doubt that I'll finish it this month. So I'll add a shorter game or two later, to actually get to the finish this time.

Some words are really hard to say, but I have to admit defeat this month. March went by so fast and a shit-ton of real life stuff happened and I have barely played any games at all. Still very much looking forward to getting back to Yakuza 0, which is one of the best games I've ever played. But probably not for April's challenge, or I'll jinx that month too.

Wow, you're right!
Despite its old-school looks, I really like the storyline (I'm taking the "light" path for now :P) and how the game lets you make decisions that can affect the story. I think I'm already halfway through since I've rescued Bastila and am about to go steal a spaceship from Darik.
This is taking way longer than I expected though - kept getting distracted by the other "to-play" games on my list :P

Yay I completed Alpha Planet with 10 mins to spare. :D Also just won Hitman 2 from Playing Appreciated which is suuuper exciting!! But it doesn't seem to fit the theme so I'll have to see what I can do this month.

I went back to Escapists 2 and beat the free DLC maps, online modes and what I'd missed. Currently got all the chieves (that are not paid DLC). Highly recommend, very addictive! Side note: There's no "story" time hltb only with + extras, but there's also loads of fighting (beating up prisoners/guards) involved in each level and the game's definitely 15 hrs+. Should fit in there somewhere.
Also beat Hitman 2's Campaign and some online contracts. I'll still have to play through Legacy sometime but not sure if I'm gonna dive in right away or not. But boy o' boy did I enjoy it!! Incredibly fun, have been binging the past week absolutely sucked in. It was my first Hitman game and am sold on the series already. Had heard many wonderful things but wasn't expecting it to be so funny/have such a rich world. Stoked for Legacy, I just don't wanna burn myself out. Will see how it goes. :)
So many fantastic games, really helped me through a rough month! Kudos on everyone's progress/involvement. The fact that this page goes unresponsive on me multiple times before it'll load now is pretty great. Haven't seen that happen in yeaaars. :P

I would put Hitman 2 under the Shooter category. MouseWithBeer is rather linient when trying to find a nice game for these events ;)

Yep as samwise said, I would also class it as a shooter since well you shoot people. You shoudnt shoot them of course but you can go on a shoot out murding spree

Congrats! Sadly I can't add Alpha Planet on the leaderboard as it is not techincally a SG win sorry, I did however add your progress in The Flame in the Flood at least.
Hitman 2 100% goes under shooter and therefore it fits the theme :)

I expected Raid on Coasts to have some kind of campaign, but it's just one map with two sides that you can play over and over again...So I played both sides once and went for some achievements :)

Original Sleeping Dogs is listed as 15Β½ Hours and the Definitive Edition has bonus DLC added that is separate in the base game, so I will accept Sleeping Dogs if you still want to play it :) It is a damn good game too

In this game there are some kind of "ghosts" - things from the past you see now. There are presented to you as something dangerous - the music is getting spooky, there is creepy postprocess (like in Soma, when you are approaching monsters). And because of that instead of enjoying a story, which they are telling, I want them to go away and leave me alone.

Well, it has "war" in the title, so I think qualifies for war. ;) And it's also long, at 28 hours for the main story on HLTB (which means 50+ hours for me, since who avoids side quests in an RPG?).

Fun fact: I planned to play Z this month, since it was more fitting with the theme. But then, I had the great idea of playing Age of Mythology last month. Soooo... I have my share of RTS for now. (I love AoM, but I want to play something else than an RTS)

Pfew, Enemy Front is done. I have to admit, I had been further into the storyline before than I expected, but this felt like a bit of a grind. :D
Tried to do the add-on mission St Nazaire, but that was way too buggy. Kept dying from invisible grenades and shots while in cover (I assume), and from certain areas I couldn't shoot enemies.

Played War in a Box: Paper Tanks. Simple tower defense game, played just till over half of it (15 out of 24 levels) but I'm abandoning it. I tried to keep myself going but I have to force myself too much and I'm not enjoying myself. Actually already had to play in multiple short sessions to keep myself going.
Apparently it's one of those games where achievements show up after exiting the game. Saying that for the people who are in Playing Appreciated as achievements will show up with same timestamp if you play in one sitting.

Enigmatis 3 definitely works, the rest are not wins so they don't count unless you played everything else you won, but any other win will do fine in combination with Enigmatis 3 if you want to go for the GAs :)

I'm not surprised. Considering how easy and quick some games are to 100% and the huge amount of Artifex Mundi games that were put on giveaway on this site along with some achievement spam games, this theme would be a walk in the park for some people. Quite an easy way to go up in the leaderboard.

Yeah I guess it could be easy but generally I've seen and even experienced with many hogs as an example you need to play expert mode or you need to collect stuff which most people I've noticed avoid. You are right about the achievement spam games though. I'm more interested in what the people who take part are picking though since we always end up with more strangers then people taking part, so I wonder just how many of us are picking that option. In a perfect world though if it was picked achievement spam would not count for the fact you can easily complete them by idling.

So how does this work? I have 2 games that would fit the requirement (Sniper Elite: Nazi Zombie Army & Enemy Front), but I've already played both a bit, but never finished them. I don't really understand how to take part in this...
I have won a few games:
Slash or Die 2 - played it but can't finish and 100% it because my middle finger is stupid and not dexterous enough and there is no option to change key bindings to swap right and left mouse buttons.
In Celebration of Violence - played - I like it but I need to be on vacations to play it without having to go to work because you need to remember all the enemies attack patterns and how each weapon strikes and what each shrine do.
DARK - have not played - I need to buy DLC and than I will play it for maximum experience of the game :)
Band of Defenders - played but sadly it is a co-op game that is nearly dead now...
Moss Destruction - great wishlist game that I play now trying to get as much achivments as I can :)
Tower 57 and Attack of the Earthlings - 2 wishlist games I will play after I max or nearly max Moss Destruction.

In February 25 people made their way to the leaderboard by playing their wins for 599.7 hours, achieving 966 achievements and beating 45 of them. We got fewer
