Looks like it actually should work on a 10GB partition, install on systems without UEFI and don't care about Nvidia cards (fglrx even comes prepackaged, what do you know) if you tweak it somewhat. I started with BIOS installation and it actually works (though partition table by default still stays EFI GPT). I believe with time I could provide you with a working 10GB partition image too.

But seriously, dear gentlemen, for now be extra careful with it.

Pity it requires 4GB of RAM, an empty HDD and an empty USB drive.
I only wanted to try it out and quickly see it overall.
Even a dual boot via DVD install would have been enough to me (and honestly it would be easier in any case).
I'll have to wait for the video reviews.

First Steam Machines only for US, now SteamOS only Nvidia( at least at moment). But yeah I still won't like Microsoft and their Windows even if Gaben make 100 of this "only ..." things. So let's wait for the AMD support, I wonder how much Nvidia paid them to put back Intel and AMD graphic support.
