Steamgifts Register

I have a friend who wants to register here, he try a lot of times but always:
"Account could not be verified with 60 games, valued at $--.--. Required value, $100.00. Please wait another 9 minutes before trying again."

But I see some user here registered, don't have 100$ in steam games, how is this possible?

Free weekends count. So on weeks where they lend players games, like skyrim was a bit back, that counts

They more then likely registered here when they had over 100 dollars worth of games and then dropped below 100 once games dropped in price. Also free weekends also seem to count too.

If your friend has a bunch of bundle games, they don't count. If they have a bunch of games that were given out free from places like indiegala and bundle stars they don't count. Free 2 Play (F2P) games don't count.

Yes I understand the free games or bundle don't count for total 100 dollars, but I didn't understand how other users with far fewer games could be registered. I put an expample up

It was stated few times before.

During free weekends games show up in your library as if owned. SG can't tell them from actually owned games so it counts toward your minimal 100$.

Thx for reply! I understand it now. Still, I'm surprised that having only 2 games on steam with the free weekend can get 100$ but I guess it will be possible.

few weeks ago was Total War free weekend its more then 100$ with all dlcs
