Awesomenauts question

Since I have not played Awesomenauts since it came out on PS3, I forget the names of the characters. I see the awesome dlc sale on steam but I don't want to buy new skins, just new characters. Is any of the dlc available new characters or is it all just skins? I get confused when I see like 20 pieces of dlc for a game.

I think all DLCs are skins.

This is correct. Characters can all be unlocked by gaining levels; they will all be unlocked by level 19.

Buying the skins also unlocks the characters.

Just to be clear, you can unlock all characters without buying any of them, it just takes some time.

Thanks. I have this thing where I hate playing a game unless I have all available dlc for it unless its just like skins. Missing out on characters or content drives me nuts.

I know the PC version has stuff not in the PS3 but I don't know what all is new. I guess it's time to play it again.

Around level 18 you'll have every characters unlocked, no dlcs required.
