if so you are trying to create a whitelist giveaway that only a few of the users in it can join? like some kind of whitelist puzzle? if so i think there is no way because whitelists are just as a normal group but managed differently, but i think that kraken senpai got what you are looking for...

Also i just wanted to make giveaway for my Whitelist + for the members of a forum i post quite often in.
Thats why i wanted to keep it Invite only + Whitelist .

I've been thinking about this for fifteen minutes here. Finally found a somewhat reliable solution.
- Create a public group.
- Create a group + whitelist giveaway.
- Link the public group wherever you want, as if it was a giveaway link.
It's not perfect, but it's the closest best solution I could find.

True..... I mean, I can understand why the option isn't there. Having a whitelist can practically act as an invite-only giveaway anyways, since only certain members can join. And with an invite-only, only people who see it can join. So, to make one the only a certain amount of people will join, and then slim that in half (I assume. More of a guess, really), then only those people can join. If it's a puzzle, and it takes a while, people can get upset for wasting all that time for nothing (people like bitching on here, anyways). So, they probably won't implement it, and it's difficult to try to make it work yourself.

Like, I meant as in only certain people can enter. You get to pick & choose who enters. With invite, you don't pick & choose, but only people who see the link can join. I mean, they have their differences, but not too far off. I doubt SG would implement it.

Stumbling upon the group randomly is unlikely, without a link to the group. Of course, someone could invite friends/share the group link to others, which is basically somewhat a way of leaking the giveaway, so yes, it has many flaws...

You can make group + whitelist giveaways. Basically, anyone with the group link will join the group to enter the giveaway, and randomly stumbling upon the group otherwise is unlikely.
This has its flaws, but I couldn't think of any other ways. :P

For now i just made a group only giveaway ... will come up with something for whitelist people (of which you are proudly a part now ) on a later date i guess .

This solution has its flaws like I stated in my earlier replies, but I don't think any other ways are possible, without manually adding people to a giveaway.
